Seriously? The pictures show Chinese characters on it? I also seriously doubt the claims about how accurate this thing really is. For an accurate temperature for those say 5 yrs and younger, I'd check their temperature rectally. Don't rely on some video, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS YOURSELF.

Is this good for my 3 mo old?

I gave up on all digital thermometers and just go with rectal every time. Never found one accurate enough.

are forehead thermometers as accurate as others?

NO, they are a quick check to see if a more accurate method is neccessary. From what I've read, if you take multiple readings you'll likely get different temperatures. If that happens, the accuracy claims are false. If someone coughs or sneezes near the thermometer you'll have to sanitize it too or you'll propagate diseases. You may have to make sure these types of termometers are in the same room as the patient at least 30 minutes before taking a reading or the reading could be inaccurate. It pays to read the small print.
