Cuts over 2.5" diameter tubing with no issues. Like others have said, the parts didn't appear very stable. Tolerances in the cutting wheel and arm that the wheel attaches to were not good out of the box. Very wobbly. But once a pipe is clamped in, it cuts true. Just start with light pressure to do an initial score around the pipe and you're good to go. The arm extends and retracts very smooth and quick. The cutting wheel can retract completely into the handle for max diameter pipe cutting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Size value *by S***3 on March 22, 2025* Used to shorten SS table legs, worked perfectly good quality tool ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for foam core ABS DWV pipes *by V***T on August 25, 2022* Awesome for cutting 1-1/2” foam core abs: cut edges came out spot-on straight, square and very clean requiring just minimal de-burring on the inner edge. Much faster than using a saw, and much straighter results than with a ratcheting shear type pvc pipe cutter.One limitation is that it doesn’t work as well with solid core abs (and I would assume other solid plastics): while it cuts foam core ABS pipes very quickly and cleanly, when I tried it on a solid core ABS pipe of the same diameter, it cut very slowly (requiring about 30 times more rotations around the pipe). With solid ABS pipes, it tended to heat up the pipe at the cut causing the very edge at the cut to melt and swell up by about half a millimeter—just enough to require having to use a sharp blade to trim off the swelling to allow the pipe to fit into a fitting.
