A MASTER-PIECE OF CRAFTSMANSHIP !!!
I have seen few tools, multi or otherwise, so ingeniously designed as this one. All positive reviews were right on----this thing is awesome. It has a very sophisticated look, all materials used including decorative wood and stainless steel are top-notch. It has an awful heft to it belying its low price and medium size. As a hammer it can drive nails in, where normal-size hammers can't due to space restrictioons. The axe-part is perfect as well. The plastic/rubber sheath covers the axe blade fully and snugly when not in use. Does not slip off if properly placed on the axe-blade. All the other tools are top-notch as well. In short you can't miss with this one, and kudos for the skill and workmanship that must have gone into the production of this beauty. Five stars. PS: I forgot to mention the rugged black holster this tool comes with to carry it around. The holster comes with a belt loop so yo can just slip your belt through the loop and let the holstered tool hang to your side hands-free.

Handy and cool
Totally awesome. I gave these to all my family in their Christmas stockings and they loved them. Most are going into car's for emergencies. The material is thick and heavy duty. The joints and hinges are well made and smooth working but sturdy. The handle feels good to hold. The hammer is on the small side, but it makes it easy to store. The hatchet was sharp and definitely the favorite part for my kids. All the blades are sturdy. Very well designed.

strong and small
I only gave it 4 stars and not 5 because i havent yet used it in the real world. Its quite heavy, enough to do its job. The axe and blade are dull and needed sharpening. You can nail without busting your hand. The hammer head is about 3/4 inch diameter. The axe is about 1 3/4 inch wide. The steel feels strong. One complaint is the sheath. Its flimsy and cheap. It doesnt cover the hammer or the axe, so you can lose the rubber protector over the axe, in which would allow a sharp axe hanging out even sheathed. Another complaint is the blade and other pull outs do not lock open. I also wish they were needle nose pliers instead. Other than that it seems like a pretty nice tool to have. UPDATE: I have put this tool to the test. Nothing has broken. It has the strong feel to it and it has stuck. I mostly use it for the hammer, pliers, philips head screwdriver. I have lost and found the cover that covers the axe head numerous times. I need it because i sharpened the axe head very sharp. I wish they had a sling to go around to the inner pliers or something to keep it on better. One day I anticipate losing it permanently. The other problem i have with this is the philips head screw driver does not lock open (or anything in it really). When your screwing something in, the screwdriver tends to fold back in on itself making it a hassle to screw. Other than that it is a nice multi tool. I pretty much consider it a small hammer (with stuff on it). If i dont need a hammer, i take my leatherman. UPDATE: I have used this numerous times. There are so many times when i need a hammer and i dont feel like going to get one from the garage. I have lost the rubber protector for the axe. The sheath has surprisingly held up, but i dont wear it on my belt at all. I dont really use the internal tools at all. So i cannot say much about them...other than the fact they dont lock close, so they slide out quite often.

Good little multi-tool
Bought this for my first backpack outing with my two oldest boys. I needed something to drive tent stakes, but wanted more use than a simple hammer. It's a little on the small size, but it's perfect for what I intended its use to be. Has good weight to it, so it has some force behind it when you use the hammer and axe. Other tools are exactly what you expect. Need a little sharpening, but they don't come dull. Pliers were implemented in a pretty cool manner.

Just OK.
Figured it would be a useful tool for camping. The hammer part I found to be too small to be really useful. The small hatchet is pretty useless. I found the weight of the entire thing to be heavy. The latch which keeps the pliers handle pulled in kept coming lose as I used the hammer and hatchet portions and that was annoying. Most of the weight is in the handle portion. I didn't find the handle comfortable to hold in my hand while hammering or chopping with the hatchet. I did not use the knife, saw or screwdriver pieces, so those will remain to be tested. I would probably say, take a portable tree trimming saw for cutting branches and use a rock as a hammer and get a good camping knife and all will probably work better. I wouldn't not recommend this tool for backpackers as it does add some weight. For car camping it is somewhat useful and will continue to use it for those trips.

Sturdy and useful.
This tool definitely came in handy while camping with my family. It was much smaller than I expected, but still very useful. It's got a nice array of tools and fits comfortably in your hand. I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy it felt and happy to see quality construction for such a fair price. This is a great tool for camping or adding to a survival kit and I would highly recommend it.

Heavy duty tool!
Great quality, heavy duty tool. This did not disappoint. I seen 2 other tools like this listed on Amazon and opted for this one as it is almost identical to one on QVC that I bought as a gift only it was $30 on sale. The protective cover on the axe head is firmly fitted and does not come off as I read on other reviews. It's made of a rubberized material and will not come off without some effort. The case is basic nylon with Velcro and belt loop. I'm totally pleased with this purchase and may order more as early Christmas gifts.

Clever design, can be useful, mediocre craftsmanship
This is not a finely machined tool, but at this price one should not expect miracles. What it is though is a pretty solid chunk of multi-tool. I got it for camping and use as a portable hammer for staking down tents and flys. And for that it seems to be fine, there's just enough heft to give it some weight. The additional functions are just a bonus; I don't expect I'll need them much but the pliers could come in handy, and the file works fine. I don't think I'll ever use the axe...just can't think of any tiny trees I need to chop down though maybe I could use it to chop up some kindling. But with some sharpening the knife will do for light jobs in a pinch. I can't get completely away from this review without poking a little more fun at the machine work. On my device there are all sorts of uneven edges. In addition the multi-tool blades aren't perfectly straight, so the leftmost blade (with the file and a dull saw) won't close all the way because it hits the inside end of the screw holding in the decorative wood panel on the handle or hits the left side of the handle itself. It's not a major problem, you can just gently push the blade right and it will slip into its place, but if you appreciate craftsmanship, let's just say you get what you pay for here. Still useful enough for what I needed and quite inexpensive, so I'll plop down four stars and I'll hang on to it.
