Looking for anything to do with “thumb tip pain while crocheting” leads to just about anything about thumb except addressing the tip of the thumb. These turned out perfect for protecting my finger tips without being a hassle. Only issues: I wish they came just one size larger though. So instead of sizes “I, II, III & IV”, I wish they were “II, III, IV & V”. My nails do not fit through the nail spots easily and catch on the sides.
