Garmin Replacement Bands, Forerunner 230, Purple

This is an actual Garmin band. I bought my Garmin, after about a year the little rubber holding thing came off, so I bought an $8 replacement band. While the replacement band had softer silicone and two strap keepers, I was CONSTANTLY having to shove the strap back in. This time, I got another real Garmin one which has this special tab that fits I to the holes on the watch and and I have not had to even touch my watch in the week I have had this band. The purple color is vibrant and fun. Yes, it costs more, but my watch band is never hanging loose now.

This is a authentic Garmin watch strap and it will make your watch feel like new. After replacing my 2 year old broken, original strap I was able to see just how vibrant the color really was on the new one; it is very purple.

As expected, color is... purple. Same as original only... purple. Kinda cool to have a color option. Extremely easy install with included tools and hardware.

First time in two years I had to replace the band for my watch. Wish there was an option to buy the bands without the tools since we already had a set from my husband's band purchase.

I purchased this band to replace the frost blue band that came with my Forerunner 235. On the plus side, this is a genuine Garmin band and it comes with replacement screws and two screwdrivers so you can easily swap the bands out. However, on the negative side the material of this band is very different from the default band--while the default band has a smooth, flexible silicon feel to it, the replacement band has a stiffer, more plastic feel. They are the same width, length, and thickness and have the same holes and buckle, but even after wearing the replacement band a few weeks in hopes of breaking it in, I couldn't get over the stiff feeling. The default band is much more comfortable for me to wear, and I feel like I can wear it a bit tighter (which should improve the heart rate monitoring) because it flexes with my body more easily. The replacement band always felt a bit clunky on me.

I love this watch strap :-) I needed a new one after my original 735xt strap became damaged. But, after much searching, I found that most funky, colourful straps weren't specifically for my Garmin model. However, I decided I would take a chance on this, since a previous reviewer had said it fit their Garmin 735xt... And it does! Would definitely recommend. It's more robust than the original light blue strap my watch came with and it doesn't make the skin sore on my wrist like my original strap did...

I like the colour and the feeling on the skin is great too because it's original not like some cheap silicon..

Easy to replace my broken strap. Wish the material was a bit more flexible though.

Ordered delivered and fitted within 12 hours ... How amazing is that ...the strap looks the same as the original very easy to fit just unscrew with the included screw drivers slip the new strap on and tighten the screws you can't get any simpler than that.
