Duffle bag manufacturers seem to deliberately hide the fact that their bags are made of polyester. Or they highlight a nylon construction but only to state in the fine print that the nylon is limited to less than 5% of its construction. It is a buyer-beware market. The 5.11 products are truly made of nylon. they cost a lot more, but they are 3 to 5x more strong and tear resistant. I also enjoy their ability to be rolled into a tight size to minimize the storage space when not being used. I do not want my closet to be filled with bulky duffle bags. the shoulder strap and grab handles are very comfortable, and are cross stitched for extra strength. The black bag is a great match for my black luggage. Bag was perfect for what I was looking for. Plenty of room for a firefighter who works 24 and sometimes 48 hour shifts. No end pockets (I knew this) and not rigid (I knew this as well) but a great overall bag. Bag has a nice zippered compartment on the inside top lid and an extra removable zippered bag for essentials. Shoulder strap is very wide and comfortable and durable. Love the front Velcro and bag has several other attachment points.
