These window wedges have been a lifesaver for childproofing our home. I installed them to keep our windows from opening too far, and they’ve given me such peace of mind—especially with a curious 5-year-old who loves to explore. They were super easy to stick on and adjust, and they stay put really well. I love that we can still get some fresh air without worrying about safety. These are extremely easy to install. They are discreet but also very functional. I feel at ease knowing my toddler can’t open the windows too high. We placed these on all upstairs windows to make our home safer. They are also great to place above air conditioners so the window can’t be opened any higher. Great safety product!

These work as described but I didn’t realize that you have to remove the unit entirely to open the window where as similar products you have to adjust them to open windows. I wouldn’t have purchased these had I known this but the product is fine otherwise.

I bought this for my child’s room. It works! He is not able to open the window.

These were easy to install however they did not work at all for my standard windows. The window could easily be pushed up past the wedge even though the gap was small enough that the wedge should have worked. Because of the velcro backing and soft plastic and my windows being older vinyl the window just bumped out and over the wedge. I would not recommend these. The price was good though.

The design does not allow for easy, repeated removal. I thought I would be able to apply it, remove the hard plastic piece when I wanted to open the window and then when I was ready to secure the window, reapply the plastic piece. For example, I placed mine on the upper window frame, but discovered that the thickness of the Velcro strip, after removing the white plastic piece, would not allow me to open the window any further. The Velcro strip was too thick to fit between the fixed upper portion of the window and lifting up the lower window. This is more of a fixed product. Meaning, once you open the window and affix the Velcro, that becomes the height of the opening. This product does not allow you to change the opening height of the window. If you’re OK with this, and this is what you’re looking for, then I would recommend the product.

I wanted these for times when I’m home and want my windows open a little more than my window bullies allow otherwise. I’m very pleased how well they work and I can be in another room not worrying about breaking in while I’m not paying attention. Love them!

Easy to install and very difficult to force the window open. Bought these for a couple of old 1940's windows that need to be replaced. Of course, like an idiot, I locked myself out of the house the day after I put them in. So I had to force the window up and over them to open it far enough to throw my kid through the window to unlock the door. I was impressed with how much force I actually had to use to break into my own house and to their credit, these things didn't break off. Great value for the money and really easy to install. Plus they double as window holders when you want to keep an old loose window open.

These work great! They are easily removed and adjusted as needed. Comes with extra velcro strips.

We have north star double hung windows . After many different products to try and limit how far the window can open ( toddlers in the house ) we finally got these Overall a really good product . They stick to the frame of the window , so when you slide the window up or down it gets stopped. We did two per window and happy with the result

My window slid right up over them so didn't work unfortunately. Easy to install but not worth the money.
