My son has a set of expensive Astro A40 headphones and 3 little brothers... you do the math. When they damaged his original cord we found this as a replacement and took a chance on the cheaper option (as apposed to the manufacturer's which is twice the price). These were shipped quickly and they work like a charm! The plugs are solid and the cable is sturdy. We use it with the PS4 with no problems at all. Thanks!

It has been about three months that I’ve owned this cord.I’m gentle with my things, so I was surprised to find that the wires, internally, have frayed. I lost audio in one ear, and verified with a different cable that it was indeed my replacement that had died out on me.Very unfortunate, because I do like the build, appearance, and length of this chord.Also, I paid twenty-one dollars for this cable. Poor value considering the life of the product.

First cable i recieved had a broken inline mute, when muted i could not get it to become un-muted using the switch on the cord. Requested a replacement and came in a very timely fashion. Second cord worked perfectly, sounds great and mute works everytime.

Bought this cable to replace the old one for the Astro A40 TR with mixamp. First plugged everything in and heard static and only sound out of one ear. Removed connection and plugged back in firmly, seemed to be working ok. Not long after I kept hearing heavy static, off and on sound would quit in my right ear, and mic was full of static so I was told. Luckily I do have a spare set of Astro's that I swapped the cords with and the other cord fixed the issue this cord has. I may give them one more shot to send me another one, if it fixes my issue I will update my review. If I have the same issue then I will update my review and keep it posted.

My son is hard on cords! He has this hooked up to his head phones for his PS5 works amazing I can hear him yelling just fine! Will buy again when needed

Wire works great but the mute switch doesn't work. It doesn't mute is all. Still a great wire though, just couldn't give it more stars for that reason.

This cable is a great A10 Astro cable replacement for less money and quick shipping. The fact that the wire is braided provides extra durability which is needed when kids are using it and I did not need volume control so this was a perfect fit!. I have ordered other alternatives and they do not last as evidenced by me leaving this review for a great new wire replacement. I would highly recommend this as a replacement wire any time:
