The bags are great but the pump is horrible. Used the bags with a different pump and worked perfect for the job!

picked these up for a cross country move as a way to protect our wine collection. when I first opened the package it is a bit confusing b/c there were no instructions just a bunch of plastic bags and an air pump. so came to the review section and saw some reviews about using an ball airpump to puncture the bag to get it to inflate. Tried this and yes it works but extremely long process to do chamber by chamber. I had already processed the return b/c it was just to much work and had already ruined two bags.... before taking it in i was looking for alternatives and found an instruction video on a similar product and wondered why this one would be so different... Surprise it's not... very easy to inflate these things... a bit counter intuitive. But basically there is a single access hole on the right hand side of the plastic bag (if you lay it out in front of you with like a wine bottle the cork is away from you) the band where the arrows are is where you insert the air pump.... (just need to spread the bag with your fingers with a quick twist). the arrows indicate the direction of the air not where you put it in.... pumps up in secounds without all the pain of doing it chamber by chamber... hopefully this helps. just look for the videos of other related products that cost more. Wish this vendor would just put a little tab where to insert the air pump but it is cheaper. Good luck

The pump that is included will do nothing but frustrate you. I used a compressor with a blow gun and did quick work inflating hundreds of these bags. It's not easy to get access to the opening in the bag, but with a compressed air blow gun you can flutter the end and insert the tip for inflation. Works great. This solution is superior to any wine bottle shipping I have previously used. The inflatable bag protects the bottle and also creates a temperature insulating barrier around the bottle. They fit neatly in medium-sized shipping boxes. So happy I found these.

I've been using the inflatable wine bags for several years with no issues. This recent order had a major issue in that the product was defective. The way the bags were lined up and cut was off so that it was impossible to insert the pump to inflate. Tried several different pumps but the bags were defective and unusable.

Throw away the included hand pump, attach a needle filler to a good manual bicycle pump, or better yet an air compressor. Put a bottle in the bag. Insert the needle in the side of the bag just below the bottle opening and aligned with the arrow facing sideways. Ignore all of the other downward facing arrow. Hold the needle in place in the first air section. Turn on the air compressor and the bag will fill solid in 5 sceconds. It's actully kind of fun to see how fast it fills.

Love this...I use them for shipping and the little pump included is hard and long but we use an air pump and filled in seconds

These would be great. Sturdy but I just could not figure out how to use them. No instructions.
