sturdy. well made. I am glad it came with inserts to switch between different Mac models to ensure it works well with the model u have. I like how there is a gap at the bottom to leave the thunderbolt cable in-place while not using the stand.

If you listen to the reviews you'll never purchase anything. Specifically if you go by reviews of this product alone, you're going to never purchase it. There I helped you. But if you're a free thinker and do what's best for you, do yourself a favor and purchase one - you might be surprised at how well it does what it is supposed to do - and if you don't like it, return it. The BookArc works just fine, it's made of aluminum, super high quality and it includes all the necessary inserts to make your MBP standing experience a good one. Will it match perfectly? Nope. Will it hold a MBP with a case? Nope. Should you know this going in to the purchase...yes. But things like that should be common sense, I mean, there's a million different cases in a million different thicknesses - don't make your decisions based on what Kyle expects his experience to be. For what this is, it is perfect. It's a stand. A minimal stand. It stands your MBP up on end. It's literally ALL it does. If you have an issue with it, then I assume you're nothing more than someone who likes to complain. In fact, I ignored the reviews and it works as advertised. A one piece, machined aluminum stand that sits on my desk and holds my MBP. Wow. Imagine that.

I like running my Mac laptop in clamshell mode and this product helps me achieve this. The stand is simple in its design, and you can drop in a laptop or iPad if you are looking for a product that doesn’t take up a lot of desk real estate. The rubber liners help protect your product from damage and it’s easily portable if you want to move it from side to side or place to place. It is lightweight and made well. My struggle is not with design or its intended function, but rather how it fits into my overall workflow of product usage. I'm really happy with this purchase. I use it to hold my MacBook Pro 14 inch. There is a cut out to allow my USB-C cable to go under it and make a really clean appearance on my desk.

Look...it's a small padded arch to improve airflow and hold your MacBook pro in place. It is not the cheapest option, but I've been using it for almost a year and am incredibly happy with it. I wanted a nice-looking dock that slightly improved airflow and that would fit discretely behind my large monitor. Most importantly, I needed something that would prevent my cats from sleeping on my docked laptop. This did exactly that.

The MacBook Air is super loose in this product. Looks great but not the form-fit I was expecting. It's allegedly made for this specific Air model, and the 'lettered' sleeve insert matched up with the product description AND my model - but the laptop just flips and flops back and forth in there. You basically have to position the laptop exactly as you want it - but that positioning is loose. So the laptop won't fall out or anything but any little desk bump is going to have your Air falling back or leaning forward. At the discounted price - it's whatever. Had I paid what these often go for I would have returned it immediately.

I used this stand for my 2023 M3 14” MacBook Pro, and I am very satisfied. For starters, it came in very sleek packaging, and I find it interesting that they gave a list of things you can repurpose your box for! The stand itself is very durable and keeps my MacBook very secure. I do want to add, however, if you have a case on your MacBook, you’ll more than likely have to take the case off when you want to use it. Other than that, it is a really great product and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality stand.
