This is my first time putting a screen protector on a camera and it honestly couldn’t have been easier. It went on clean with no bubbles, which I was a little worried about going in. One tip if you’re buying this for a brand new camera, put it on right after taking it out of the box. Way less chance of dust getting trapped underneath. The protector itself feels solid. Installed this on my X100V and had zero issues. Each protector comes with its own cleaning kit—wet wipe, dry cloth, and dust sticker—makes the prep really easy and clean. Alignment was simple, and it went on without any bubbles at all. The screen looks just as sharp and touch is just as responsive as before. No weird reflections, smudging, or lag. You honestly forget it’s even there. It also came with a couple of bubble levels for the hot shoe, which was unexpected but kind of fun to mess with—not something I needed, but a neat bonus. Seems to do the trick on my X100VI. Lost one star for poor instructions. Came with a couple "guide stickers" that I couldn't figure out how to use, and that weren't covered in the instructions. I tried my shaky 72-year-old best, but my install is ever so slightly crooked, maybe a 1/64" overhang at one bottom corner. Hopefully not enough to snag or matter.

I buy these for all my cameras, installing them pretty much the moment I take the camera out of the box. For just a couple dollars, I figure it's just generally good insurance against accidents. They're easy to apply and generally fit pretty well. And I can attest that they actually DO work! My brand new X100VI took a tumble, falling out of my car when parked on a steep slope in Yellowstone. The camera hit the rocky ground fairly hard, too. The screen protector took the hit and shattered into several very large cracks. Nevertheless, it still held together and stayed put on the screen for the duration of my two week trip. When I returned from my trip, I pulled the broken protector off (and it still held together during removal, despite having full-length cracks across it) and replaced it with one of the extras from the three-pack. The screen under the protector was completely unharmed! These screen protectors do their job well and this one saved my screen from serious (and expensive) damage. Definitely recommend. I will continue to put these on every camera I own and suggest that others do the same!
