Drills for an awesome young man.
I have an amazing 6th grade Godson. He is a black belt, a star pitcher, and a huge Dogers fan. Only so many Jersey's and hats you can make a kid feel appreciated with. So I gave him my old bamboo fencing sword and got him this book to drill with. He has that kind of discipline. Kid continues to amaze me. I wish my boys were of the moral quality he is. He appreciated the gift.

Pretty good for beginner and intermediate levels
This is pretty good for a beginner that has an experienced teacher to help with the fine details. It might be of use for someone with more experience in practice with little teaching experience. (As it has a good base from which put teaching method from.) Most of these drills would be taught within the first year of training at any reputable Japanese style sword school. This is very unlikely to help someone with years of training and teaching experience.

Everything You Wanted To Know About Sword Usage, But Were Afraid To Ask...
After reading Chapter 1, I was able to cleanly slice a watermelon. After Chapter 2 I can now wear my Ninja uniform with confidence. I'm partway through Chapter 3 and feel I can now defend myself from my grandmother's cane. This book has, thus, far inspired my innner-self toward the road to enlightenment. I still, however, would feel more secure wearing socks when I start cutting people...

I received the book in a timely manner and in new condition. I didn't expect that it would be printed with stick people. I find it difficult to follow but I'll figure it out.
