The product worked great on white surfaces... but I have dark carpet and dark furniture, so it didn’t work for me. I should’ve read the label before purchasing. Overall a great product though, will have to return. **Update: I just realized I didn’t update my previous review while using the product this evening lol. So, the company read my review and within two days sent a replacement product that blew the first light out of the water. Let me be clear though, I wasn’t disappointed with the first product, but with my lack of reading skills... yet the company made sure I was happy. For the record, I am thrilled. I included a picture that I took tonight, months later, of my carpet (gross, I know). You won’t be disappointed. Very bright, sturdy, and a good value for the money.

Cat urine needs a specific kind of blacklight to show up (different from dog urine), and this one isn't it. I found a spot I was 100% certain my cat peed on and it didn't show up at all under the light. Yes, it was completely dry. It does work well on other things, though, like for your bathroom and cat vomit on dark carpet, and it's pretty bright and feels sturdy.

I have small blue light urine detector that I thought was good, but this particular light is great. Much brighter and covers more surface area. I had kept a neighbors dog who doesn't use peed pads. I had to keep an eye on her and take her out often. Even with that, she ended up using my new rug for her inside potty. I was able to see where she had gone, so I could clean it. I think it might only illuminate once the urine is dry. I haven't tried to use it on fresh piddle. I am certainly happy with this purchase.

Works great on money and your hotels you know what I am talking about so lets not say 🤢. .

I bought this specifically to check for puppy accidents on the carpet, and unfortunately it didn’t work very well for that. The light does turn on and gives off a UV glow, but it wasn’t strong enough to clearly highlight any spots unless I was extremely close and even then it was hard to tell. It might be okay for very basic use, but for pet mess detection on carpets, it didn’t really do the job I needed it to do.

OMG, Have had my rescue dog for a few years and I knew that he had accidents plus sometimes would just go ahead and lift his leg to pee whenever and wherever he wants to but did not know how extensive it was. Told my husband that now we must move. The carpet is done and is so bad that new carpet is the only answer. And it's not just the carpet. We're talking furniture and whole house. Oh yes, this light is a very high quality made product. After I put batteries in, it didn't work so I unscrewed top part, took apart and put back together and it worked just fine. Bright, easy to hold. I got the 68 LED. If I had known how bad my dogs problem was I would have gotten the 100 LED. Yes I highly recommend this, unless you are a total germ-a-phobic. I NOW CAN NEVER UNSEE WHAT I SAW......lol

Doesn’t work. I was in pitch pitch black house. I have a puppy and know he tinkles everywhere when excited literally didn’t show a thing up except for crisps my son had dropped on the floor

But shines bright to charge my glow in the dark frisbees. Chews battery half quick .

Bought this to go night crawler hunting. Price of worms for fishing right now is ridiculous. This seems to not startle them as much as the black light finds them a lot easier.
