Forms tight seal, works great
We had a relatively minor clog in our toilet (toilet still flushed, but just really slow) that our old plunger could not clear. That old plunger had a flange, but it just wasn't the right size/shape to form a seal on the toilet's drain. I plunged that sucker for over 30 minutes and it had no effect. Enter the BeehiveMAX plunger: it cleared the clog in 30 *seconds*. Its flange is much more appropriately sized/shaped for forming a tight seal. Plus the head holds a larger volume for forcing water in/out of the drain. Plus plus the handle design (with a "T" at the end) lets you grip it in a way that gets you maximum force when you plunge. This is by far the best plunger I've ever owned.

the stories are true, this thing is an absolute champ
yesterday i was reading the reviews with glee and hope, hearing other people's success stories. our neighbor had a clog the other day and asked if my toilet was fine - yes! it was fine! but a few days later? clogged! we share an apartment building pipe so i wonder if, when the workers cleared her clog, whatever the obstruction was, went to our area and affected the toilet. we have a toilet from probably 1979. when the problem started, when we flushed, first the water didnt go down at all. then after using 2 different snakes (which made ugly marks on the bottom of the toilet), plunging with the wrong kind of plunger (the accordion one for the sink, it doesnt have the bottom part that sticks out as toilet plungers do, i later learned - great for sinks but cant form the right powerful enough seal with the toilet), and also hot water and dish soap, our water would go down, but painfully, worryingly slowly, with barely any force or pressure, and would make a glug glug glug sound when it went to the bottom. i asked ai if this sound was significant and she said it means it's a partial clog. if it were a full clog, the water wouldn't have gone down at all. still i was worried to use the bathroom. again we tried the hot water and dish soap trick, we tried what turned out to be the sink plunger (some tp did come out the first time, btw), again we tried 2 different snakes. i had thrown away my old crappy toilet plunger years ago- - i dont think i realized that toilet plungers could be good or bad, i always just thought, the very rare times the toilet got clogged, that the problem must be 'too big of a clog" for a plunger to handle. then i read the reviews here and made the decision to buy 25 bucks worth of stuff so this could come between 4-8 am the next morning. i didnt want to have to panic when i eventually would go #2 in the morning. i was worried all night but hopeful from all the positive reviews. i used it once, not much happened (actually there was splash back, which i now realize probably means there wasnt a tight enough seal because of the way i put it in. i remembered reading a review for this item where another guy said there was no splashing and now i think it was a sign i put it in wrong), i flushed to test and it was better but not excellent, so i did it again- a few pumps, this time no splash back and BOOM it's flushing like a champ! btw nothing came back out, it's not like a toy tonka truck materialized, nor waste, nor paper, just fresh water. im guessing this just pushed whatever was stuck through the pipe. i cannot tell you the relief i feel. btw, i thought the handle would be taller - it turns out i thought this only bc it came already fully extended and if we would want to, we could make it shorter. i think i initially thoughts of it as smaller was a brain trick, because it came extended already, which ive never exprienced before (usuall things come on the smaller setting), so i assumed it was on the smallest setting and my brain was viewing it as "this will get much taller" -- but it's plenty tall enough (my hsband and i are both tall) i just made it smaller for storage, to keep it next to the toilet. it is the perfect size. and i absolutely love the T design on top, so you can get a good grip with both hands. how flipping thoughtful!!! kudos to the designer. i rushed to write a review to add to the chorus of 'the reviews are true.' because the reviews gave me such hope and now i'm here to add to the stories. i had seen ads for electric plungers and thought if this didnt work, i'd try one of those but no need - the buck stops here, this works, and it works FAST and easily - no other parts needed. i went from mildly panicking for over a day about using the bathroom -->literally seconds using this --> feeling free again, huge problem eliminated.

Excellent plunger that works on all toliets
Can't believe I'm reviewing a plugger. Hey this one works on some of the biggest issues. And it works on all sorts of toilets. Some newer low flow toilets with untraditional designs and this still works. And the T handle makes it comfortable to use. I only wish the design didn't hold nasty water in it after using. But we have a spot in the garage for it.

KORKY IS GREAT
Our old plunger was very hard and flange was cracked and wouldn’t pop back out. The Korky worked on the first try and kept its shape!

Most effective designed plunger except for the new handle
This plunger design gets a tight fit in the toilet so it dislodges toilet clogs better than anything I have experienced. The rubber will eventually soften after several years and then it will tend to mush its shape but no longer suck and push water and dislodge clogs well. 8-10 years is too long. I don't know what the turning point is exactly. Maybe change it every 5 years. Ask the manufacturer. I had a clog and it seemed resistant to everything. I started with my old Korky. It is usually all that is required. Then went through a series of tools (air blaster, chem clog dissolvers, dish soap and hot water, toilet snake, etc.). I had gotten water flowing early on but the best I could get was a weak flush and could not get everything back to normal. I stopped using the toilet and just continued applying all these approaches including just flushing water many times in between thinking eventually the obstruction would break down and wash away. But the best it got was a weak flush. Then I noticed that the old Korky was not doing more than squishing its shape. I suspected the rubber had softened with age. I replaced it with a new one and the toilet achieved its previous normal after one plunge session with the new Korky. I docked it one star because the new plunger came with an extending handle. I question the need for an extending handle. I say extending but It goes from compact to regular. I would never use it in the compact position and that offers nothing in terms of aesthetic benefit. It is comprised of a wider diameter pipe and a smaller diameter pipe which are locked in position with a nib which depresses and then pops back out when it aligns with a hole. The two pipe diameters do not achieve a solid fit. The smaller diameter pipe is too small. It wobbles. A plunger handle needs to be firm and solid when plunging. The new handle seemed like something they did to utilize stock of the smaller diameter pipe. Maybe they ordered the wrong size and decided to figure out a way to use it? A plunger using just the smaller diameter pipe would not be strong enough so it had to be combined with the wider size? IDK I just know it does not improve or enhance the plunger compared to the old single piece handle style. It makes it seem flimsy. I am swapping handles and keeping the old one piece for use with the new rubber part.

No me equivoqué.
