Good guide, I'm a massive fan of CGP. Helped my son achieve a 7 grade for his GCSE computer science course.

Great book and serves perfectly for GCSE Computer Science. Amazing from CGP as usual and go to my for study books.

My son is currently revising for GCSE's in just over a months time and it's been serving well, as all he needs to do is read over the book, especially for paper 1 as all the content is relatively short form in notes. Along with "mrbrowncs" on youtube this book is a solid revision tool and i recommend any people interested to buy it. No negatives other than the book is soft cover and it can get damaged easily if not cared for.

The book starts and continues with a lot of unfamiliar IT words. The reader has no option but to memorise the text in the hope that all will be revealed later. The authors have not understood the needs of teenage beginners. I have read other CGP books on various subjects and found them more coherent.
