Needed for a class, been using it all the time now
I needed it for one particular class and finished this class over a year ago, however, this book so so helpful it never left my desk and guides me through many of my classes for SLP. Great book, easy to understand and learn from.

BEWARE! I didn’t get the audio access with the book!
I bought the book new and was supposed to get an Access code with this purchase to hear the auditory files, but I did not come with it! I’m a student on a tight budget so I’m VERY disappointed.

If this is your text look for another option to supplement
This book made learning phonetics unnecessarily difficult 😣 it was full of trickery and did not break sounds down to the level that is understandable. I got another book after almost finishing the course and I have torn through it learning and reading - this one was required for class if you need it and haven’t learned phonetics previously, you might wanna pick up something that is an alternative to this particular one so that you will have a way to learn that’s reasonable. I wish I had done so sooner!
