In a week & a half I led worship for our youth group(just a couple people) with the chord buddy on. 2 weeks later I led worship without the chord buddy. Although I was having trouble reaching the "C chord" sometimes:). That week, I also sat in on our church's Sunday worship team practice & although I wasn't able to keep up, I was pretty close to being able to. It's only been 5 weeks now and I can play without even looking sometimes. With a capo I can play almost any song and I'm learning a couple new chords and trying to pick up some new strumming patterns. Now my son wants to learn with it, my sister wants to get it for her daughter, and lots of other people are excited to try it. Knowing that I could put the Chord Buddy back on and create music any time I wanted was the motivation I needed to keep at it, but I only needed it for a couple weeks. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to play the guitar! Take a couple weeks to practice consistently and you'll be able to play for the rest of your life! Not worth the price!! Disappointed!!
Cannot no matter what get a good crisp sound out of any chord. Not worth the money, I don’t see how this made such an impression on “Shark Tank”. Definitely leaves a lot to be desired. Would never suggest anyone buy this product! Disappointed to say the least, and then found same item on “WISH” for $4.00. What a sham! Shame on y’all. I paid 50.00 plus as I ordered the one with worship song book. Wish is only chord buddy, but still a major price difference.

I’m playing on the first day
I am a music teacher. I will say that. But one with small shaky hands from meds that has had trouble playing guitar just to learn for myself and with this I got to play church songs today while I sang along. I will say that it is important to install it properly. But I am already so happy and excited about this.

No more struggling with your first chords on guitar!
Right upon installation of ChordBuddy I could play 4 chords. And no pain in my fingers! There are plenty of songs based on these 4 chords. People learn better on their successful actions, not on their failures. Important info. Prior to buyin these device I bought very similar one. But that was fake. I could not play with it any correct chords. The authentic device cost is around 50 usd, the fake could be as cheap as 8 or 15 dollars.

Helpful for beginners
Never played Guitar before & Guitar Buddy has helped me. With the book & DVD I can now play a tune & it’s only day two.

Missing piece
It was missing one of the rubber cushions tabs... So... does not work. But i believe that the product is good.
