Yes it’s fine as long as you follow instructions I used a mist off water to activate it

Can it be used on the rims of the car?

Not sure what you mean by rims . However any painted part of the wheel YES ,On alloy I cannot see any reason why not . I like the polish very much .

Can i apply on the white car

I have a pearlescent white car that I did and and works brilliantly.
