It smells divine ( I have seen some reviews saying the smell was bad so I wonder if they got a bad batch or it was a storage issue in Amazons part). The conditioner has amazing slip and is great for us fine haired people whose tangle or get knots easily. For context, I have fine, wavy, oily hair scalp prone to poofy dry ends and I live with very hard water but I've used it traveling in soft water areas and it has performed well there too!
