These are great! You can use as is for rug corners, or cut any size if needed. I used smaller pieces on all 4 corners, and in between on my rug. It keeps rug perfectly in place through an excited crazy dog running around, and my Roborock vacuum doesn’t get caught on corners and glides right over. Easy to use, and easy to remove when needed. I used on vinyl plank flooring with no issues. I will probably find many other things to use this tape on. I love Gorilla products!

This is the FIRST rug gripper I have purchased that has actually worked!! Yay!! I have a cat that takes running leaps down my hallway onto my runner and always scrunched it up!! I was constantly fixing it in place! This was easy to use and apply, fairly priced and sticks in place like a dream! Worked on my LVT perfectly! Very pleased 😀!!

I first bought these two years ago for a rug over hardwood floors. I hated how previous “nonslip” rug mats bunch up over time, still allowing my rug to move all over the place. Over time, these did the trick and it was absolutely impossible to move the rug, even when vacuuming with a strong vacuum multiple times a week. I was a bit worried that they were so strong they would damage the hardwood, but I can now officially say they did not! I bought them again for my new rug, but had to take the old ones off. I used vinegar (in a spray bottle) to soak them for a few minutes to loosen the edges. I used a razor blade to gently lift the edges (I was careful, and yes the wood survived and is fine, no scratches) and pulled them off the rest of the way. It left no residue behind thanks to the vinegar I sprayed on them. I just wiped it away with a paper towel and that was that. No damage! The only downside is that these are strong and if you plan to lift the rug to vacuum underneath, that isn’t going to happen without risking the adhesive. Luckily I’m too lazy for that and I just replace my rugs every couple of years because I have dogs. These things are amazing and hold my rug in place. I couldn’t be happier!

Great product

We have bamboo flooring in our living room and we use an area rug for decor and comfort. I hate the way our current rug bunches up at the edges with the slightest pressure. I didn't like the idea of double sides carpet tape as that was more permanent than we wanted and no idea what it would do to the flooring. Wife tried alien tape and that didn't work. These have worked beautifully. Rug stays in place better than I imagined. They're supposed to be reusable and we haven't pulled the rug up after putting them down so we don't know how well that part will work. Also don't know about leaving marks or residue on the flooring. Once we decide to pull up the rug and see how it works, I will update the review.

Do what they are supposed to do.... hold the rug in place. Easy to apply and do the job.

I bought these because my office chair kept grabbing the edge of my rug every time I rolled backward during meetings. Nothing says “professional work environment” quite like aggressively fighting your carpet while trying to sound intelligent on Zoom. These little Gorilla Grip pads actually WORK. The rug stays flat, my chair glides normally, and I no longer get irrationally angry every time I move six inches to the left. What impressed me most: * They stick securely to the rug * They grip the floor really well too * No sticky residue left behind * Easy to apply * Rug corners stay down instead of curling or shifting I was worried they’d either not stick enough OR they’d become some nightmare adhesive situation when removed, but somehow they managed to avoid both problems. If you have pets, office chairs, hardwood floors, or just a rug that enjoys drifting around your house like it pays rent nowhere… these are worth it. My sanity has improved dramatically.

This was perfect for a small entrance rug with a rubber backing placed on an oak wood floor. The rubber backing still allowed the rug to slip. The gripper pads solved the issue.

Was doubtful and these grippers are expensive but THEY WORK! I am so delighted. I have bent, lifted & shifted the hallway rug at least twice a day for years. Now no longer it stays in place (on quarry tile floor). However, I took great care to read the instructions & did as requested. One corner at a time. Then pulled and stretched rug as much as I could to make it taut, before sticking down 2nd corner. It was a doddle! Have waited several days to see if rug (a hessian hallway rug) travels sideways or rucks up, but so far so good. Many thanks. I am delighted.

Works great. My carpet has not budged since I put these pads on them. I will try to remember to come back in the future when I have to remove them to see how they come off of my laminate flooring. So far I really like the product for keeping my carpet in place while my dogs run back and forth down the hallway.

Works exactly as expected - with a 70 Lb dog who likes to gallop around the house, my kitchen and hallway rugs don't budge whereas before he would skid all over the place. I was afraid he might hurt his hips so I wanted to find a secure fix for this problem - and I found it! So nice to not have to constantly adjust the rugs and vacuuming doesn't move them either. The corners, which were a bit curled was becoming a trip hazard but these keep them flat. I have a very good quality luxury vinyl flooring throughout the house and the adhesive sticks really well - I was suspect that the adhesive may damage our new floors so I peeled a corner up to see if the adhesive would leave a gunky residue or damage the tile but it comes off really clean (and I was surprised how strong the hold was). It's been 6 months and the rugs haven't moved at all. My runners are 8 feet long X 3 feet wide so I used two at each corner and one in the center of the length. If your runner is longer I might recommend placing a strip of the Gorilla grip every 3 or four feet along the length. I will be adding a huge area rug in my living room and I will definitely be back for more of these. Game changer!

I have hardwood floors. I put the grippers on to a rug. The rug has not moved at all even with a boisterous young Collie dog running around.
