AILEETE C26-2 Trimmer Head

A great buy versus the overpriced OEM. I like Stihl a lot and they are the only yard tools I buy now that I can afford them. This unit is as good as the OEM. I don’t know long it will last, but the OEM unit didnt last all that long being made of plastic.

This weed Wacker line spool is awesome. It fit right on the trimmer with very little effort. It rarely binds, and loading is really simple! I use twisted line, which tends to bind inside the spool, but haven't had any problems yet. Loading is great, I just center a 16ft length of line in the hub and assemble. Then a few twists of the feeder head and my trimmer line is perfectly loaded. I've been using this for several cuts this summer, and its been really durable. It's a bargain just to not have to stop to fix trimmer head line problems!! I may have to buy one for the second line trimmer!

Purchased the C26-2 Dual Line Trimmer Head as a replacement for my Stihl F56RC trimmer head. Overall very satisfied with the purchase. Filling with string is much easier and faster than original Stihl trimmer head. Strings feeds much easier as well. The products material seems to be sturdier and should last longer, time will tell. Two negatives: The trimmer head is approx 25% larger than original, and the weight is approximate 1/2 pound heavier as mentioned in another review. I use a shoulder strap and primarily trim flan ground. So, I don't feel these are a game changer as the positives outweigh the negatives for me. However, this may be more of an issue for a who is trimming at extreme angles, and having to lift the trimmer head frequently.

This is a great upgrade from the Stihl original spool. It winds easily but be sure to lube it as needed to keep it smooth running. I'd buy it again.

2 months in the metal eye hole for the line keeps falling out everytime and if I use the speed feed it coils to tight amd the line wraps over itself causing it to not feed... definitely do not recommend

The head is easily threaded to the trimmer and restringing is a breeze. The head works great and the tapping easily releases additional string length. 100% satisfied even though I’m a fussy guy when it comes to tools.

This bump head works fine, however it is approximately a 1/2 pound heavier than the stock Stihl bump head, based on my not calibrated scale. If weight is an issue then consider rebuilding the stock one. Also this bump head isn't as easy to wind the string as would be expected. You have to push the spool inward while turning. I found that using the palm of my hand to be easiest. I also have an Echo speedfeed 450 that is much easier to wind the string.
