Wonder Workshop Launcher for Dash

If you have a kid that you are trying to get interested in programming, then Dash is a good buy. If you have a really spirited (crazy), mischievous (trouble-making), good-humored child that loves to do things like: Hide then jump out and scare you when you are holding hot drinks, Use whoopie cushions so frequently and violently that they break almost instantly, Use nerf guns for guerrilla warfare with a neighborhood gang of 6-8 year olds and sneak attack unsuspecting people, then they will love this. He can program Dash to sneak up on you, throw balls at you, then make Dash say something strange and then do a little dance. They are only ping pong balls so if they get lost under a giant sectional couch that seems to be a black hole of cat toys and lego pieces, you can easily replace them with more. Honestly, it really is a fun addition to the robot. I love watching him use it and laugh, and then call in another gang member to play with it instead of nerf guns, beyblades, or Minecraft, which seems to be the only things they think of doing these days otherwise.

Gift receiver was very excited to try out . Launcher was gift most wanted out of robot selections. Nice quality. Not only fun but educational toy .

This accessory works great with Dash. My daughter loves trying to shoot the balls into a box. The accessory is easy to connect and control.

Works as intended but Dash can't throw anything heavier than a ping pong ball. We use it to launch treats at our dog, but we were hoping he could play fetch with a tennis ball. Dash just doesn't have the power to throw the larger ball, but otherwise this is fun. Hard to aim and get the angles right, but that's part of the fun.

Recommend this accessory. The launcher has been a huge hit with the kids and allows them to be more interactive if you have more than one child. Easy to attach to the Dash Robot. TIP: Make sure the launch arm (black piece that the ball sits on) is UNDER Dash's orange head attachment as the ball is launch when Dash's head looks up

It took some adjusting to get it to launch correctly. The first try was a failure as it launched backwards. Instructions would help.

I gave each of my two grandchildren a Dash and Dot Robot for Christmas and the Wonder Workshop Launcher included additional parts that they could use with the Robots. They love their Robots and are learning about computational thinking and problem solving!

This is a MUST HAVE for your Dash robot !! Get the wonder pack which comes with the launcher, or buy it separately if needed. Kids will really enjoy this accessory :) it brings more fun than the xylophone and other accessories.
