Good quality helmet with good ear defenders. Comfortable to wear.

This set is streets ahead of the Stihl Basic Helmet Set which I had for a number of years before it succumbed to the weak ear defender bracket issue. Was going to try get replacement parts for the basic one but it seems like quality has dropped as the internet is littered with people with similar complaints. Decided to upgrade to this helmet and I am not sorry I spent the extra! It feels so much more snug and comfortable, the vent holes your head a little cooler and the ear defenders press tightly against your head to give great protection and the brackets seem sturdy thus far. As an occasional user during the spring and summer, I'd highly recommend!

I use chain saws alot of the day and is neat and a good all round view . The visor takes a short time to get use to thou when lifting and pulling down .

I bought this new helmet for myself for £50 (+p &p) last month & am well pleased. Then went to buy another one for my logging mate last week, only to discover that the price had gone up to a staggering £80 (p+p &p) a 60% increase!! So not being a mug I changed my mind!! Complained via the Amazon "questions" menu but got no explanation so far from the suppliers. So decided that the Husquavarna quality equivalent, but under £50, was perfect for us, but without the egregiuos rip-off! Sorry! Chris Pym

05.02.2023 UPDATE: den Stihl Schutzhelm habe ich nun seit 1 Jahr und 2 Monaten im Einsatz und bin hochzufrieden. Die untenstehenden Punkte stimmen noch - weiterhin 5 Sterne ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Zur Rodung eines Grundstücks habe ich zu meinem Stihl Freischneider/Kettensäge den „Stihl 0000 888 0807 Schutzhelm“ gekauft. Mit dem Schutzhelm habe ich nun mehrere Tage, bei einer täglichen Arbeitszeit von ca. 5-6h, gearbeitet und bin hochzufrieden (siehe Video und Fotos). Positiv: + ich habe mich für die Version mit dem „Front-Gitter“ entschieden, da dieses beispielsweise in den kälteren Jahreszeiten nicht beschlägt + sehr gute Passform auf dem Kopf, der Helm kann auf den Kopf mit einem Einstellrad angepasst werden. Kein drücken oder reiben nach einer mehrtägigen Tragezeit. + das Schutzgitter ist robust und hält umherfliegende Partikel ab. der Gehörschutz ist für die Nutzung meiner Stihl Kettensäge oder für meinen Freischneider optimal und sehr gut gedämmt. + das Produktionsdatum war mit 06/2021 angegeben (also 6 Monate alt; mein Kaufdatum 12/2021) und somit OK. + Made in Germany Neutral: o der Gehörschutz hat ein Produktionsdatum von 09/2019 aufgedruckt. Das finde ich schon etwas „alt“, allerdings wird bei günstigen Produkten gar kein Produktionsdatum angegeben! Negativ: - bisher kann ich keine negativen Punkte feststellen. Falls in den nächsten 8 Wochen welche auftreten, werde ich meine Bewertung ergänzen! Ich hoffe, ich konnte euch etwas bei eurer Entscheidungsfindung helfen :)

Ben fatto, un po pesantino, bilanciato, compatto. Unica osservazione, le cuffie non si possono tenere allargate sulle orecchi come per altri caschi. Modifico giudizio a 5*, perchè ho scoperto che le cuffie si possono allargare/distanziare dalle orecchie senza ruotarle. E' super comodo.

El producto es bueno por su calidad, por eso me gusta. Lo que no me gusta es que no ha venido con las gafas como lo indica el catálogo. Aún no lo he utilizado, lo he comprado porque el que tenia se averió, era de la misma marca que me ha durado años. Espero que me envien las gafas. Gracias.
