Cold Brew and Chocolate The first protein drink I’ve tried that actually tastes good. A bit sweet but still good. The cold brew is especially nice.

I started buying these for my mom to replace the sugary Ensure shakes she was drinking. It took her a couple weeks to adjust to the taste, but now she likes them. I liked them right away. I’m not a big meat eater, so it’s an easy way to boost my protein intake.

Drink it super cold it taste better.

Thought I'd try these are a meal replacement instead of other brands that give me pains and constipation. These are great. No chalky taste or overly thick shake quality. I got the variety pack and all of the flavors are good. The cookie/cream seems a bit too sweet, maybe, for my taste. But love the dark chocolate. I drink them cold from the fridge, no mixing at all. Smooth texture, easy to carry , and I can recycle the bottles.

These taste great and are excellent for hitting protein goals and for keeping in your bag for easy access when you have days where you are on the run nonstop. I like the variety of flavors and have reordered these several times.

Not bad, But EXTREMELY sweet tasting. I use more as creamer in my coffee or add to blender with fruits&veggies, water or almond milk to dilute it.

Anyone who says these don't taste good are wrong. I've been buying these for a couple years now one of the best vegan protein shake options.

This report was published in October 2025 and detailed the heavy metal testing results of 23 different protein powders and ready-to-drink shakes. The Owyn brand was flagged as being safe to drink on a daily basis. I am a long time user of Orgain, which I find tasty and enjoyable but Orgain fell into a use occasional category. So I have been trying different Owyn protein drinks to see if there is one I could replace my daily Orgain shake with.
