I went down a size because I felt a size XL would have enough stretch around a 46DDD bust. I might have even gone down to a Large, but that might have cause "back fat" issues. The chart showed that I should get 1X but because I am busty but small, even with broad shoulders, I have small arms, and I didn't want baggy arms. So the arms are longer than 3/4 on a 5ft tall person, but I can scoot them up and they are not too baggy. The rest fits nicely and looks so nice. THIS IS NOT LIKE DANCEWEAR FABRIC. It is not like a leotard, it is looser and like normal clothing, stretch but not too much stretch.The only gripe I have is that the catch is one of those interlocking plastic kind that is hard to work backwards. The manufacturer would do well to use a metal hook that has several "slots" to choose from, for tightening or loosening up. I am not a fan of the plastic closures, they break or melt. But I can add a metal closure. This had a few loose threads at the bustline and could've been slightly better constructed, but it looked as if it was done hastily-- probably to keep up with demand!I ordered three more, and recommended them to friends with "arm issues" who were THRILLED to know such a garment exists.
