I typically used 2 steps M105/D300 followed with a finishing polish Menzerna SF4000, this allows me to produce near perfect paint (deep rids excluded) the problem is that this takes a lot of time, I usually did it over many hours and even multiple days, ultimately making the process much more expensive and less convenient. With Sonax however I can produce the results my clients and I are looking for, in half the time. This polish cuts well enough to remove most wash induced scratches and marring, and finish down perfectly enough for LSP preparation. This allows my to offer a quicker, cheaper, more profitable service to my clients and allows to me to fit more vehicles in at a time. Truly a remarkable product, and after priming the pads I've only used a handful of drops for the remainder of the vehicle. Perfect Finish is designed to be used with a rotary polisher. You can mix and match, and do whatever feels most comfortable. That being said, the Perfect Finish abrasives are a little "better" and need a little more heat to break down. That is why it is paired with a rotary, and also why it is a little more expensive. **Q: Should I use a soft pad or hard pad using Chemical guy pads?** A: Depends on if you’re doing 1 step or 2 and the color of the paint. If you’re trying to remove swirls and small scratches in black paint, I recommend using Sonax Cutmax first and then EX 04-06. I did Cutmax with orange Chemical Guys pad and EX 04-06 with white and it came out great. If you just want to do the EX, on black I’d recommend using an orange or green pad depending on how bad the defects are.
