If so, when does it start working?** A: It works very well! This is my favorite brand of ultrasonic repellent. I've used them for 4 years. But please keep in mind that during the first two to three weeks when using any brand of these, you will see more pests. When you first plug them in and the insects, spiders, rodents, lizards, etc, hear the sound, they start to come out of their hiding spots while scrambling to find their way out of the house , trying to get as far away from the sound as possible. You'll see A LOT of them in your house at first. You'll think it's not working, but that's actually proof that it IS working. After those first couple of weeks, your house will be pest free. If it's not, reconsider the locations you've plugged in the devices. Make sure you plug in one in each bathroom and in your kitchen, and if you have one, the utility closet. Then plug in the rest elsewhere in the house. Pests often enter the house through holes or gaps around plumbing. **Q: How long can this product be used?** A: Washing four medium to large loads of clothes, sheets and towels every two weeks. It last about a month and a half. Hope this was helpful. **Q: Do they work on bats?** A: YES! We had bats in our barn, and put these in with instant results. The poor bats were trying to squish through the door jamb to get out. Plug them in and leave the door or a window open. They won't come back. Extremely sensitive to the high frequencies!! **Q: Does this product really work?** A: YES!! I bought these as an alternative to poisons and baits to clean up the place in a more humane way. So I have to say these things do work! After plugging them in, the mosquitoes, spiders, lizards, and geckos mostly disappeared overnight and are now gone! My wife and I are shocked!
