What is the difference in 3xl and 3x shorts, both same size but diffrent options

3xl i think it means long and 3x is average length that is what i think

what material are these made of?

The one's I ordered are a dark twill cargo short. They seem very sturdy. They dry some what wrinkle-free if you take them right out of the dryer when it is finished.

I orderes the 3xl black/charcoal (pb1b)....it arrived black with blue pinstrips..did anyone have this problem? is there no charcoal pinstrip color?

Mine are 60% cotton and 40% polyester according to the label. Very comfortable.
