These boots cost a tad less than $260. if you buy Dan Post boots, you know this is a "deal." (Shepler's did the fullfillment.) Okay, first, they didn't come in Dan Post packaging. That is no big thing at all, but why? They had all the tags so I don't think they were floor samples (the soles showed no wear), but it was curious. Then, I found a large tag of felt hanging on the inside of one of the boots. It's on the outside of the foot, not in a structural area so not a real concern, but one more thing that makes me wonder about the good price........On the other hand, I bought a pair of Dan Post Denver caiman boots at a REALLY good price, and they came 100 percent as expected.I would give five stars about the fit and attractiveness of these boots, but other stuff makes me think I should send them back. (I got them two days ago and have time to make a decision.) Like I said, that felt doesn't matter, but maybe these super-deal boots aren't real deals. (The deal is always for one color only, and the price always goes back up after I buy them. Are these one-off's? Maybe those caimen boots have a blem I haven't seen, but they look perfect.)

I own a pair of Fry and also a pair of Tony Lama boots. Both are 9.5d and fit quite well. Ordered the Dan Post Belview in the same size and couldn’t get my foot in the boot. I had to send them back which was free and no big deal.Other than that the boot was beautiful and appeared to be of high quality. No size chart so be careful when ordering.

The boot style is in the "Must Have" category. Unfortunately, as with every Dan Post attempt, the boots are SIGNIFICANTLY TOO SMALL. Changed to lighter weight socks. Still, my ankle will not move beyond boot's vamp. My collection features Tony Lama, Lucchese, Stetson, Noncona, Justin, Ariat and El Dorado. Boot fit never a problem.
