The wall switches are nice, modern and best of all the illuminate only during periods of darkness when needed most. These rocker type switches are easier for me since I have cerebral palsy. The fact the switches light up helps me find my way in the darkness. The LED's are bright but they do not bother me. If you are light sensitive when trying to sleep you don't want these as bedroom wall switches as they will quite promptly drive you mad with their bright white light.The switches are easy to install even with my level of mild to moderate cerebral palsy. I've replaced every light switch in my house with these illuminated switches minus two three ways switch in my hallway.Soft amber illuminated wall light switches are available and are better suited for the bedroom application. For some the bright white light of these switches offer too much light for bedroom use. These illuminated wall switches are best for dark basements, bathrooms, hallways, utility rooms, garages any place where sleeping is not the primary task at hand. Night Light intensity illumination does NOT interfere with my sleeping so these switches are fine in my bedroom.These wall switches are easy to install with the minimum of basic effective electrical wiring skill and proper tools. This assumes your house is up to current electrical code. If you are in a place with old wiring I'd let a professional electrician handle it.
