Loctite PL Premium Fast Grab

This is a good construction adhesive if your looking for something that is fairly putty-like out of the tube. It isn't exactly free-flowing in it's application. It's also hard to get out of the tube at first. You need to puncture down the spout about 4" to open the flow. It could be that the tube I ordered was a bit drier than normal. However, it's putty-like texture makes it easier to control and less messy as some other fast flowing products. Overall, it worked well for gluing a pliable flooring transition strip down to a hardwood base. Also, I'll always use gloves when working with this product because it's amazingly easy to get on your hands and very difficult to get off.

This stuff is mean! I don't know what you could compare it to? A strange mix between liquid nails, aluminum, and expanding foam? I know that's not the chemical composition, but it grips like crazy!

I bought this to repair a miniature lighthouse where I needed to glue Styrofoam pieces back together. It worked perfectly. The fast grab made positioning easy, and once it cured, the repair felt solid and secure. Pros: * Excellent initial grab. * Strong, durable bond after curing. * Worked great on Styrofoam without damaging it. * Easy to apply with a standard caulk gun. * Versatile enough for a wide variety of projects. Cons: * It cures quickly, so make sure everything is positioned correctly before it sets. This was exactly the right product for my repair. It bonded the Styrofoam perfectly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again.

That hard as nails really does live up to its name.you apply this stuff and let it cure over night. You are not breaking it loose.i tried to glue to scrap board rigethet then let sit over night.boards only 16 or so inches long anyway I tried to break em apart with a hammer I was denting the wood but the adhesive held fast.if you want to permanently bond something to something else use this stuff.don’t use it if you intend to take it off later cause it will not let go..it holds like a gorilla.no joke.if you use it make sure it’s something you wont have to remove later cause once the adhesive cures its there to stay.

An excellent blend of grab and cure. Holds well and dries fast. This is my go to construction adhesive for outdoor project. Works well around water as well.

Worked as it should. Did a great job. Very hard to dispense using caulk gun. Too stiff/firm.

Awful experience. I hope it was just the tube I had, but it was virtually impossible to get the product out of the tube. Even with two hands the caulk gun could not push it out. Defective tube I suppose. As to the product, it seems like it works well from the bit I got out. Dries pretty quick. Somewhat of a gritty texture and dries kind of light brownish.

PL-8X, grayish-white poly urethane, it is very strong, thick, hardens over night, does not appear flexible, a 25:1 caulk gun is an absolute must, a 12:1 gun is nearly impossible to use.

Too thick to get out of the tube. Probably a good glue but perhaps sold too late to be of any use.
