Spectra Precision LL100N-2 Laser Level Kit with HR320 Receiver and Clamp, 15' Grade Rod (Inches), Tripod, and System Case, Yellow

I use this laser for fencing and also for doing foundation footings and poured walls. I works awesome. Single button on the transmitter for turning the unit on, the other sensitivity adjustment is on the receiver along with an image so no guessing if it's on high or low sensitivity. The case is strong and sturdy and the unit fits nicely in it. I had a bosch before this and it sits in the corner (worthless). If you are looking for a good laser level don't hesitate if you are considering this unit, it's solidly built, great features and this is one of those rare tools they didn't try to over engineer when they built it. Simple to use, well built, great price.

Pretty awesome if you need a transit. Makes running one of these a 1 person job. Very easy to use and the laser detector is awesome in daylight when you can't physically see it.

This was a decent price for this set up all in one case. I was a little confused in the beginning on the grade rod markings. I thought it was going to be inches on one side and tenths on the other. In fact, it was inches on both sides and on one side they were reversed, so maybe like it would be easy to find the depth of a hole, as opposed to going up on the other side of the rod if that makes sense. I think I’m going to order the remote they sell for this. I can see where it would be useful.

We have other Spectra laser levels with the laser head and receiver in a case but the tripod and grade stick are separate. They work great but having everything in one case is so much easier to deal with, and the tripod and grade stick are also protected, keep the whole set in good condition. If you set your equipment up, and leave it up all day this might not be a big deal. But we have to stop at a site, take measurements, and leave in a matter of minutes. I keep the laser head attached to the tripod all the time so set up and take down is a matter of seconds. Love it.

I had a week off from work and was excited to get some grading done for a barn we are building. I finally felt justified to purchase a rotating leveling system like this and went through several reviews online. This seemed like a good product, and I was excited to put it to use. After spending an hour trying to set it up and not understanding why the laser wouldn't turn on, I came back inside only to read some of these other Amazon reviews that described the same issue I was having. It doesn't work without a remote, and the remote doesn't come with this kit. So I ended up running to Home Depot and bought a Bouch unit that worked perfectly, as I had heavy equipment rented and couldn't lose the time off. I ended up burning 6 hours of daylight in total and will never buy anything from this company again.
