Calibration instructions are wrong. *by B***H on September 5, 2024* I agree with others that the build quality is a little weak, especially the tripod. But it does get the job done. And the grading rod is a bit cumbersome to use; the plastic brackets at each segment interfere with the receiver mount.I've checked calibration and found that one axis was slightly off. Not enough to matter for my applications, but not within tolerance. I'll try calibration now that I know the correct tools to use.So I called for customer support with calibration. The manual says to use a flat-headed screwdriver, which is incorrect. The calibration screws are rather deeply buried inside the housing and very difficult to see. The customer service reps responded in a timely manner and let me know that a) I wasn't the first person to call about this, and b) I'll need a (long handled) 3mm hex driver instead of a flatheaded screwdriver.Other than that, it works fine!It is what it is for the lowest-cost option on the market.
