Review: A good update for the modern times. - A great book turned into a much more digestible format. I was a kid when I first read 1984, but even now in my 30s I just honestly don't have the attention span anymore to read deep books. I saw this graphic novel version of the story online and decided to give it a go, and it's been awesome. Decent artwork, nothing you can compare to modern comics but it's still good. I will say this book is still very text heavy; just because it's sold as a graphic novel doesn't mean it's just small speech bubbles here and there. There's still very much a lot to read, the addition of visuals just really help paint the story.

Amazingly, our 14yo granddaughter(visiting us) became enthralled when she saw the book. She already loved the story. So, I ended up giving it to her. Now, I need to buy another for myself!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good update for the modern times.

A great book turned into a much more digestible format. I was a kid when I first read 1984, but even now in my 30s I just honestly don't have the attention span anymore to read deep books. I saw this graphic novel version of the story online and decided to give it a go, and it's been awesome. Decent artwork, nothing you can compare to modern comics but it's still good. Really well done. The art fits the story/context so well. Dunno how on earth he drew so many compelling images. It's not the same as reading the novel itself but captures a lot of it. The physical book is excellent quality, a real art piece.
