**Q: Will this dimmer work on landscape lighting that is using a Lowe's Portfolio 300w 12v transformer?**
A: This dimmer is listed as a 12-volt AC dimmer... if you have 12-volt DC system or bulbs then it probably will not work.  Low-voltage dimmers are usually one or the other--but not made to work on both, and many if not most lighting systems do not list this specification. If it is made primarily for as auto lights--then it is a DC system.
