Perfect for liege waffles
I made GF Leige Waffles with this and they came out exactly how I hoped they would with that crunchy and sweet coating on the outside. Looking forward to making regular liege Waffles too!

Great for Liege waffle beginners!
My liege waffles (first time cooking Liege) came out perfect...but the package will get you two batches at best. I can stretch mines to 4 since I dont like a lot of sugar in my waffles. I followed a recipe and added 1.5 cup of pearl sugar and it was a mouthful of sugar in every bite. I wish they were smaller but they taste amazing and work well with Liege waffle recipes! Enjoy!

It's sugar in the shape of pearls
As I had never used pearl sugar before, I don't know if this is any better or worse than other pearl sugar. It is sugar that is formed vaguely in the shape of pearls. The Lliege waffles that I made with it came out well; making Lliege waffles was another first for me, so I do not know whether other brands of pearl sugar might have worked better. While the price seems kind of high for what is essentially just pearl-shaped sugar balls, this seems to be the going market rate for pearl sugar, which is probably a good thing because while Lliege waffles are delicious and not terribly difficult to make, they are not healthy food, and the relatively high cost of pearl sugar may keep me from making them more frequently to the detriment of my generally clean eating regimen.
