Bruno Handmade 32 Inch Rattan Wicker Chest Storage Trunk Organizer Ottoman W/Cushion Colonial

This item exceeded my already high expectations. I chose it based on the description and price. The description was accurate. It is a solid, well made unit. There is wooden bracing in the lid, around all sides and the bottom. The four corners have triple wooden braces, sitting on large square legs with plastic glides. The seat cushion is an attractive linen like weave of heavy material. The color and style of both the wicker and cloth bench seat match almost exactly the cane porch set we just bought. And now, a few ugly items we stored in corner or the porch are now stored inside this sturdy bench. I felt entirely comfortable sitting on it, and I am sure that it will withstand reasonable occasional use by average sized adults, and maybe even more frequent use by children. All in all, I am very pleased with this item, as it provides excellent value and quality. Shipping was fast, via FedEx and packed very well. BTW, I just noticed that the pictures of the lid do not show the improved bracing for the seat. Mine has an "H" style brace, which adds strength in the middle where a persons weight would be concentrated. Update: almost three years later and it still looks like new. Sits in a corner of the back porch year round. It doesn't get soaked, but it is on a screened porch. It now houses my solar setup - battery, cables, charge controller and inverter. Keeps them warm and dry in winter, but there is enough natural ventilation provided by the weave, that it works in summer too. I do have a small fan inside to protect the electronics on the hottest days. Considering purchase of a second one when I add another battery to my system.

This chest exceeded my expectations. Not only is it beautiful craftsmanship it’s perfect for the end of my bed. I was really worried about the color discrepancy, but as you can see it’s not a bright white color, it IS whitewashed. I personally think this goes or blends with everything. It’s pretty with or without the cushion, you could easily change the cushion color with a slip cover, if you chose to do that. It’s very roomy, I only have two blankets in there to show you the depth of the chest. Very fast shipping, my estimated shipping date was 10-28 to 11-5. Highly recommend SK New Interiors

Absolutely beautiful.....and I am super picky!

I was looking for a replacement for a wicker ottoman that was becoming too fragile to sit on. This was the perfect product. The dark natural wicker is the perfect complement to the living room. The storage space is deep for blankets. It arrived quickly and in good condition. It is also very well constructed much more sturdy than I was expecting. While it was more expensive than I would have liked, it was worth it since another could not be obtained.

Beautiful bench though the color whitewashed is not as true whitewashed, it looks more yellowish like the natural color of the material is made of. I am going to paint it a different color to match my bedroom furniture and I am going to also make a leather cover for the cushion too. It’ll look amazing I am sure. The quality of the product is excellent! So I am sure you would love it too.

Beautifully made and VERY sturdy. We use it in our kitchen as a toy box for grandkids. I weigh 135 and it doesn’t budge when I sit on it. Only reason for 4 stars is one of the front legs is shorter than all the others, but I put a small round felt pad on the shorter leg and it works just fine. Overall very glad we bought it!

This is beyond beautiful in person. I wanted something to discretely store my babies’ toys in that would still be decorative and functional. I was looking for a rattan piece and went with this because of the seat cushion. The cushion is better quality than I expected, soft, and feels sturdy with weight on top. The entire piece is perfectly constructed and lightweight. Hinges work properly and everything is aligned— this is what makes it a quality piece against others on Amazon. Packaging was VERY efficient as well. I would 100% buy more. If you’re debating on purchasing this, do it!
