The Panel Pro PRO2k is your answer. Developed to give professional woodworkers, amateurs and home-hobbyists a tool that will let one person cut big sheets safely, accurately and in a small space. This vertical panel saw is the ideal tool for cutting large panels to size. It can cut straight and square up to 1/32-inch accuracy with a 4-foot vertical cross cut capacity and an 8-foot horizontal crosscut capacity. There's also a quick-change rotating saw head, a factory-aligned guide system and a dust-free nylon-graphite roller bearings. The saw comes standard with a specially adapted 15 amp saw motor, 14-gauge galvanized steel frame, welded guide tube assembly and a folding tubular steel stand. Comes complete with motor, wheels, vertical ruler and two horizontal rulers. Add the optional lower and upper frame extensions for additional support for full sized sheet processing. Review: Great Saw - does everything it is suppose to - I replaced a sliding table saw with the panel pro and went back to a cabinet saw for sizing dimensional lumber.Bolted it to the floor. Bought 2 sets of extension brackets, rulers, and a Freud saw blade. Setup a midfence we can take on and off. Squared and calibrated the saw to the frame and rulers and away we go. The panel pro has been in our 2 man shop about 2 years and for the $$ it just doesn't get any better. It's square, accurate and a back saver for sure. I see some complaints in the reviews but @ less then a $1000 I'm not sure what others reviewers were expecting? It's not $10000 Sebring saw but then again it didn't cost $10000. I find the accuracy, quality of the cut and ease of use comparable to much more expensive vertical panel saws just in a smaller footprint. Been my experience that the manufacture is never responsible for operator error. I mean the truth is if it were really that bad why not send back, it came with a warranty....right. Review: can't beat it for panel sawing. - this comes with the bottom extensions which are a must for ripping 8' panels. It has performed well I used teflon tape on the bottom rail for improved low friction sliding. Cannot beat this of the $ and the price is great it includes the lower supports ( a $100. option with Rockler or direct from Panel pro, and the $200.00 shipping also included.It was 4 day delivery right to my garage.
