Skater Japanese Modern/Traditional Compartmental Bento Box, Chopsticks, 870 ml

This is a great bento box. A good size for most people and has a few options for packing the inside. It has the ubiquitous center divider, but it also has two pre-arranged plastic compartments. You can use all three dividers or none. So if you have a lot of little amounts of different foods you can use the dividers. Or if you take all of them out you can conceivably put a sandwich or something wide and flat. I also like that the inside is also very easy to clean. It seems to have a non-stick feel to the inside. The textured surface is nice as rice doesn’t seem to stick to it. And if something does stick or stain it, the texture makes it easy to scrub so that you don’t see the scratches. Unlike other bento boxes that have that very smooth and texture less inside which seems to scratch easily. The lid is nice as it has a rubber/silicon like gasket which helps to keep liquids inside. I’m not sure if i would put soup in it, but thicker sauces won’t leak out. The top also comes with a compartment that contains white chopsticks. They are a tad small/short but they do the job well enough. I will say for all the good stuff it has it’s not perfect. I think that the hinges could be made better and could feel a bit more solid or sturdy. The hinges are probably the weakest part of the whole design as they just seems that they won’t hold up well overtime. I know they are made of plastic so it can be microwaved, but they could make them a bit more sturdy. Other than this i feel this a great bento box. The company makes a larger bento box, but it is a double decker design, and is not the wide flat design. The double decker is nice as does carry more food and you can keep things completely separated if need be. But for me i chose the single level on as you can carry a sandwich without having to cut it.

Feels like good quality, looks nice, comes with chopsticks. I can't speak on much else because this is my first time using it, but if I remember I'll come back to update. I think that it probably has a good seal. And it feels like nothing will break or leak. I really love all the sections it has, I feel like I can bring a wide variety of things and mix and match depending.

Adorable and very stylish. I've packed rice, beans, and veggies (nothing saucy) - and so far, so good. Packs a lot of food in a pleasing manner - somehow "clean-the-fridge" leftovers look really lovely in this contraption. I wouldn't want to mike the plastic (not sure you can). I packed hot rice in the morning and the rice was room temperature by lunchtime. This would be good for pasta salads, rice salads, little sandwiches. Perfect for a kid, actually. I haven't tried it with wet ingredients or put it in the mike (not sure you can) and although the seal seems solid I wouldn't trust it with really wet stuff. Based on my experience with other bento containers, I bet the white plastic containers inside will stain but that would be par for the course and not a negative. I'll update it if it falls apart but for my needs this is a really delightful little lunchbox.

Amazing in how orderly it will sort your lunch. My bosses mind is blown every time he looks at my lunchbox with "Oh my god, it's so organized and orderly. It's incredible". That aside, if you're using only half of the lunchbox, it makes for great portion control with the large half for rice, and the other sections for side dishes. Plenty of spots for side dishes, and easy to clean. I haven't had the clamps on the side pop on me yet *knocks on wood* but I am admittedly somewhat paranoid about that. Maybe a large rubber band is in order for this box for peace of mind, but from my own experience doesn't need it.

Smaller than expected. However; it is still a good item. My wife was the envy of the cafeteria, when she unpacked this bento. If it was bigger I would have rated it 4 stars, and if it sealed individual compartments to keep crackers crisp, I would have given 5. It is what it is. Good purchase for ease of use and price.

Before I got this bento some people said that it was rather large and other said it was very small. I'm going to guess those who said it was small were trying to fit a sandwich or some other large lunch/dinner option into the bento. This being sad, the bento is not small (you can fit a lot into it if you know how to pack a bento) but if you are a bottomless pit like me, you are better off getting a bento with a larger compacity. The bento is very easy to clean, though sometimes getting it to close is a pain in the butt and it is not leak proof. That's an easy fix as long as your foods aren't too saucy. I believe that the closing issue and the fact it leaks are the only real downsides the the bento. I am very pleased with it overall.

This is a very good bento box for the price. I bought this about a year ago in an effort to save money by not buying so much food on campus for lunch, and because I wanted to make sure I didn't overeat by portioning out my food better, and it works great for what I was looking for. It is a nice size, not overly large or small, and fits about the right amount of food for what I should be eating at lunch. It holds heat moderately well, though I don't think that was really something I was considering too much. It is also very easy to clean and reconfigure, as the dividers can be moved around to suit different lunches. I've mostly used this for leftovers, generally rice with some kind of meat, sauce, and vegetables all in their own compartments. I'm no bento making pro, but it works great for what I wanted

All’inizio, ero scettica. Le recensioni di questo prodotto non erano molto buone, poi però ho deciso di acquistarlo per verificare direttamente con i miei occhi e non me ne sono affatto pentita! Il prodotto è arrivato in orario e ben imballato. Non ho avuto nessun problema con la dogana e non ho dovuto pagare alcun supplemento. Il bentō è pratico, è arrivato con le bacchette in dotazione e i separatori di cibo. È comodo soprattutto perché si può scegliere come montarlo, a seconda delle preparazioni da inserire. Si infila in borsa e mantiene bene il calore. Perfetto!

Je m'en sens pour le repas de midi au boulot. C'est un bento assez grand, un bento pour deux personnes. Pratique pour les gens qui mangent beaucoup comme moi ! Très facile à laver le bento, ca chauffe bien au micro onde. très pratique.
