An all-purpose studio and live performance recording mic. The Nady SCM 1000 Microphone is equipped with transformerless output and true condenser design for exceptionally low self-noise and increased dynamic range. The Nady microphone features a large dual-diaphragm capsule, selectable low-cut filter, 10dB attenuation pad, and 3 polar patterns (omni, cardioid, and figure 8). Uses an FET specially chosen for its low distortion and superior S/N ratio. Requires phantom power.

You could easily pay $300.00 for a mic like this.  NADY,! do I need to say more.  My wife and I have been recording for over 13 years.  Buy this Mic.  Great for instruments and vocals.  You will need a Pre amp to use this and a phantom power supply.  I shop using the reviews on Amazon and this is a great buy!!!!!!!!!!!!
