However, this product seems to work from a year to two years, then does not connect properly in spite of numerous attempts, new batteries, and re-reading the LMP manual. BUT, I continue to hope, and am now waiting on my third one. I hope three times is the charm. We have two iMacs and the problem is prevalent in both. Incidentally, in trying to connect one recently, I removed the "good" one and tried to connect in place of the other. Nope! So, I tried to reconnect it to the former, and .... well, you know, it would not reconnect. (Looks like I may be buying a fourth), or maybe just purchase a non-apple bluetooth extended keyboard. Apple does not have Bluetooth Setup Assistant anymore (which helped in these situations), so unless you are willing to re-purchase every so often, don't waste your time and money on this product.I wish I could write a glowing review, but just can't.BUT HERE'S AN UPDATE:I received my 3rd purchase now, (as well as trashed the two which were not operating). It has been working and syncing flawlessly. My wife begged me to re-purchase one for her, which I have now done. I did notice that the recent purchase has some new keys which are renamed from the ones we had before (now has a "tab" and a "delete left" and a "delete right" rather than the arrow keys before. I also noticed that when searching through previews (quicklook) that the page up and page down button worked flawlessly. So to sum this up... my advice would be to try them again. I am upgrading their "stars from a two to a four.Hope this helps someone, as it seems to be the only game in town. ### ⭐⭐ I've owned four of them *by I***2 on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on January 18, 2013* I've been using one on my Mac at work for 2+ years with NO issues. So I bought another for a Mac at home. It was so cool and worked so well, we needed one on all three Macs at home. So I bought two more after the first two!Within a week, the second one died. The third one made it a couple months before it croaked. The forth one died almost instantly. Same failure: it simply refuses to power up. No lights. New batteries can't help. It won't turn on. DEAD.Luckily, we purchased two of them at an Apple store so a refund was assured. Ironically, when we took them back, the Apple store reps did not recommend we replace them and did not have any stock or plan to stock them ever again. The advised against them due to similar customer returns and spotty reliability. Meanwhile, the one on my Mac at work continues to keep on ticking without a hitch (although it does like to go to sleep as previous reviewers have accurately noted).So how do I rate it? The one at work gets 4 stars. Short of a perfect 5 due to it's slightly cheaper plastic keys than the OE Apple keyboard (how hard is it to copy a great product verbatim!?).The second one gets 1 star because I can't give zero. The other two deserve 1 star as well. So averaging our results, that's, what 1.75 stars? Okay, 2 stars. I'll be generous and round up. Caveat emptor!All that said, I'm buying a 5th one today. We NEED it. I wish I could rate it at 3.5 stars, but as it seems to be the best option out there, I went with the higher rating.I had a bit of trouble getting it to sync with my laptop initially and had to search Google for some advice (check out kristinfromny's advice here: [...].Once I followed her steps it synced fine. It will sometimes override the keyboard (the ten-key will work but the full keyboard won't), but turning blue tooth off and back on again usually does the trick. I've had it for about two months now, and the battery life seems to be pretty good. The print on the buttons is a bit more blurry than the print on the Apple keyboard; this has nothing to do with functionality, I'm just a little OCD and wish it all looked the same.Long story short -- it's not fantastic, but it does the job well enough.
