These are very cool lights to have around. Very bright and do work with a Power Bank incase of emergencies.

UPDATE: 2024-05-18 Two years ago I returned the colored lights (They don't sell them anymore I guess) for the 8-pack of white lights. I found that these get hot after a minute or two (the led area does get warm) and go out so you have to wait a few seconds, maybe 30 and plug them back in. Somewhere in my travels across the Amazon universe, I cam upon a version of these but only had three LEDs in them, not eight. I think they were a free gift with something I ordered. This one doesn't go out I guess it doesn't get hot enough. So I'm going to try to find those. These make great lights for emergencies. The multicolor lights are pretty cool but there's no white light in the seven colors. The closet to white is a pale blue. Not a deal-breaker, just to let prospective buyers know. It looks like there's three blue hues, a red, purple and two hues of green. As for the flashing modes, one is a fade through all colors and the other is more of a strobe of each color. I kind of like the multicolor but wish there was a white to use as a flashlight on a battery bank because the LED flashlights they have on those that come with them as useless because they're not bright at all. These are bright enough to use as flashlights. If you carry a battery bank with you, these can slip into a pocket unnoticed. You won't even know you're carrying it they're so slim and light.

Bright AF! Leave them on all day. I like them because of microscopic power consumption, it saves $$!

First off these are extremely bright and wonderful. I bought the white light version of these and I am not disappointed at all. While I have used them for makeshift flashlights using power bricks, I have not used them for extended of time. The ones I have used provide plenty of light, even more than the emergency flashlight I do have. While the LEDs do get a little warm I have never experienced anything to cause concern. If I were to need to use them for an extended period, I would want to make sure they were properly installed away from anything flammable just to be safe. I have used them with portable power bricks, emergency power stations, and even playing ordinary cell phone adapters. On the cell phone adapters, the only issue I discovered was they take a half second to light up which I thought was strange. On the portable power supplies and power stations they work immediately. If you're looking for cheap versatile LED USB lights, look no further.

My Bambu P1S needed a little more light so I could see the print jobs a little better. Lots of overly engineered solutions out there, but this is the simplest. Just plug one into the USB port on the inside, and light up the world! :)

I really wanted to like these but there were a couple of issues right out of the box which prompted my return of this product. 1. More than one had flickering LEDs 2. Once a given color is selected, it is not retained after being unplugged. I ended up returning them. I may have received a bad batch and the flickering LEDs may not be a true issue but the color not being retained is a deal breaker. Once set, it should be retained by memory. You shouldn't have to re-select the color after plugging it back in. Unfortunately, giving these 3 stars.

This product is Yusef or as a safety/night lit. A small " switch " to halve the number of OPERATING LEADS would be useful. 1, to cut power, 2, to reduce the light level as needed. These were exactly what I hoped for. They throw quite a bit of light and only draw 1.5 W. The idea was to have some thing that I can plug into my portable batteries that could provide enough light to light up a small area like a tent but not take up a ton of room and not cost too much and add an average unit cost of $2.50. That is absolutely perfect for what I wanted. I was also looking for portable lanterns and rechargeable flashlights, but honestly they were way higher price and much larger and I already have the batteries so all I needed was something that would plug into a USB and provide some light

Hook this usb plugable light stick into any powerbank with usb output and you have a flashlight that will outshine and outlast any normal flashlight! The only caveat is that if run for a long time they do become somewhat hot to the touch, so be careful.

These lights are very bright but they also heat up. I can barely touch them after an hour's use.
