Does eactly what it's supposed to. Having the hook on your mallet makes removing stakes from the ground so so easy. It doesn't take up too much space in my car, is the right weight for the job, is easy to hold. I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

This is a lifesaver when camping or anything else you need to hammer stakes into the ground for. Unfortunately, the hook snapped clean off the first camping trip it was used on, but the mallet itself still works fine!

We needed a new mallet to use when setting up our campsite. We use two tents and this mallet will make set up so much easier. It even has a stake remover to help in taking down the tents. It is made well and will work great.

This mallet is basic but does the job just fine. I used it to assemble some snap-together storage boxes. I'll be curious to see how the tent peg remover works the next time I go camping. But the ring works to hang the mallet.

In my years of camping, I have managed to loose every single mallet I’ve purchased. Somehow someway they disappear from my big tote and I have to stomp the metal pegs in with my unpractical crocs and it’s a bummer for all. I purchased this mallet with the intent to love and cherish and never lose it, and so far it’s going well, it is a mallet, it works like a mallet, it’s a good size to it can tuck right into my tent bag so I will never loose it, and the hook at the end makes it easy to pull the metal pegs out of the ground.

After using 1time it’s broken can’t believe $36 spent on it
