Nielsen-Massey Organic Pure Peppermint Extract for Baking and Cooking, 2 Ounce Bottle with Gift Box

I purchased this to make mint chip ice cream. It’s delicious!

I purchased this because it was suggested on a food blog. The blog author said it had the flavor of peppermint patties and she recommended it because that is the taste she was seeking to bring into the chocolate truffle recipe :)

I use this product for making Crème de Menthe at Christmas time. It has a wonderful flavor and aroma!

I have tried all of the organic extracts by this brand, but I am least impressed by the peppermint & lemon. They don't taste natural to me or any better than cheaper versions by Mccormick. Their bourbon vanilla is the best of the best & worth every dime you pay. I will always re-buy it over every other brand. The coffee extract was okay, but I didn't feel like it was strong enough to substitute for powdered espresso (so use more than it calls for). I'm currently using up the peppermint in my mouthwash... the only place I can stand it.

I like to add this peppermint extract and maple syrup to my milk , it is so delicious to drink ! Also I am going to make a recipe from an old Better Homes and Garden 1953 cookbook called Peppermint fluff , which uses peppermint extract and gelatin and whipping cream, yum !

This brand's regular peppermint extract has a strong good flavor. Tried the organic, but it's very weak. The shipment was also slow; there's no Prime shipping. Economy takes at least a week. Made me wonder if it got harmed by being in the summer heat during shipment.
