Collector 2012 Holiday Doll

Like new condition except for shrink wrap. Beautiful collectible holiday doll. Ready to go on our Christmas mantel as is.

This Barbie is absolutely gorgeous! She looks exactly like in the pictures. I am a collector and I can firmly say that this is one of my favourites. The only complain I have is that the box came a bit ruined and scratched. It was not a big deal for me but it could be for any other collector. The shipping was very fast and everything arrived in perfect conditions.

Since 1988 Barbie has celebrated the year with a Doll..this beauty in red and diamond trim reminds us of the wonders of 2012 and the red letter days it had like 12/12/12..I have every one since 1988 and every year they always bring a big smile to my face..I never take them out of the box but she brings s big smile to my face, and the little girl in me wonders at her grand ball gown and impossible perfection...cant wait till next year..always a quality product often with little extras

Like some collectors, I like to unbox my dolls. While her dress is so pretty and there is no detail missed, from the delicate serging on all the edges, fine stitches and careful folds, to the non-stick velcro on the back and the perfect fit, I believe that they spent so much on the dress, that they decided to skimp on the doll herself. This doll comes with the model muse body with hard vinyl arms and hard, hollow plastic legs, not the nicer, smoother, and more durable hard vinyl legs of many other model muse dolls. While one many not see her legs if they never unbox her, since this doll is intended for children 6+ and not just collectors, they really should have put more attention into making her more durable. In the box, her hair is gelled into place. It's a bit lower quality hair than the hair on my other Barbie dolls. It has a much stickier texture and seems less real and more plastic. I do have other Barbies with gelled hair that I degelled, and none of them were like this. Her jewelry is the regular, familiar chromed plastic which is quite nice, and she can share jewelry with other Barbies. The shoes she has are little red peep-toe heels that are footed like real shoes and many modern Barbie shoes. Like most Barbie heels, they do have a tendency to fall off, but these do fit better than some of the older Barbie shoes. There are two other items I wish they included. Many other collectible Barbies come with a certificate of authenticity card and a stand. I also think they should have given her a more durable box if they intended her to live in the box as opposed to coming out to play. Overall, I think I would buy her just for the dress, but I'm a bit disappointed with the items included and the quality of her body. I really hope they consider making future Holiday Barbie dolls more like the regular collectible dolls they offer.

I belong to a doll club and this doll was shown before Christmas by another member and I just loved her. I had purchased a few of the Holiday Barbies over the years, but this was by far the prettiest one (in my opinion). I waited, hoping someone would give me this doll for Christmas, but it was not to be. I was going to order her after Christmas but she was too high priced, but later Amazon had her on sale, and since I had got an Amazon gift card for Christmas I got her, and I was so happy with her!!! A truly beautiful doll!!

Lo de coleccionista es un poco pretencioso porque sólo tengo 3 Barbies. Esta ha sido mi 3ª adquisición y es preciosa. Espero tener muchas más pronto, y cuando decida comprar la siguiente buscaré en Amazon. Recibí la muñeca a los 2 días de realizar el pedido así que estoy muy satisfecha con el servicio de Amazon.

Excellent choix du père noël pour ma petite puce de 4ans qui l'avait commandé depuis très longtemps. Elle n'a pas été déçu : cheveux magnifiques, robe étincelante, maquillage parfait et discret (rien à voir avec les MH qui déferlent dans nos magasins). La robe est tellement jolie sur la poupée que ma fille ne veut même pas lui en changer. Un joli cadeau à offrir à une petite fille. N'hésitez pas. Livraison rapide par Amazon.
