stronger than it looks
just a dandy little rod for close in margin fishing .I use it with a old zebco 33 reel and have caught carp to 5 pounds with it with out any problems.

Very good rod
Very sturdy. Solid. It is rigid and sensitive enough for me. It is a fiber glass rod, and that's why it is cheap. But I don't care. It will last years. I use it in my Kayak mostly and for brook trout and panfish. It can handle a small mouth bass also or anything less than 5 pounds. Great rod. I like it.

Great rod but needs to be a little bit more flexible
Took this rod on a recent fishing trip and I’m impressed but I find that it could use a little more flexibility in the tip for so your bait just don’t fall out of the air like it’s hit a brick wall. Otherwise good starter baitcast rod.
