OXO Good Grips Large Adjustable Handheld Mandoline Slicer

Love this mandolin slicer. I like that the "knob holder" keeps your fingers up and away from the blade as you slide/slice. Adjustable thicknesses..easy to change size and slices beautifully. Good quality and easy to wash. Way easier than trying to evenly hand slice! Good value!

Outstanding product, performs as advertised. Be aware: 1. the blade is VERY sharp (I nicked my finger) so use the included accessory to hold the veggies when they get small, and 2. even at the thickest setting, the slices are VERY thin.

Very sharp, not as large as expected, easy to hold and maneuver. However, I'm very surprised and disappointed that OXO provided a useless and inferior vegetable holder/finger protector with this mandoline. The guard provided does not grip vegetables adequately and is therefore a hazard. I threw the guard away and purchased this one made by Rosle instead https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004PC1BYI?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. It's far superior and safer.

Love locked position option. Also, gripper/holder slides on so you don't have to worry about misplacing it - stays together with slicer when storing. Slicer thickness options are good. Easy to wash. Slices so easily. No assembly, no need to change blades.

Works for small slices. Zucchini and other type vegs. Handy to use, store anywhere.

I had previously bought a mandolin slicer, dicer, chopped, blah, blah, blah, it was like a transformer toy with sharp blades and it was small! I never could use it because the "handgrip" was toddler size and I darn near tore the skin on my knuckles and fingers. This Oxo slicer is a dream, made scalloped potatoes with ease, and the thickness is ADJUSTABLE, so not just thick or medium, almost a potato chip thin! Just adjust the thickness knob all the way up to store, no boujee covers or cases to deal with, easy to store and use. I handwashed mine just easier and faster.
