After some reviews I was really worried about the tank arriving broken or scratched. However, packaging was good, no cracks, scratches, or other visible defects. I am using this as a habitat for a 5 foot rat snake. So, cannot speak to water holding ability. Have used for about 5 months now, and it's great. Pairs easily with a wire mesh lid to keep snake where he's supposed to be. Really good value for the price.
