An engineers best friend.
Well I'm not an engineer, but my company has sponsored me to take classes that relate to mechatronics and maintenance. Drawing electrical diagrams, pneumatic schematics, and ladder diagrams became a painful part of half of my semester and a crappy dollar store mechanical pencil would not suffice when pressed firmly against a machinist rule to create crisp clean lines. The crude plastic tip and flex ensured I had anything but straight lines and broken lead. Introducing this pencil. A professional level instrument designed for the serious. It's not cheap, but if you need a few good pencils for drawing, these seem to fit this niche. If you are a student, a professional, an artist, a designer or an engineer, this is the appropriate drawing instrument for you, as you may have discovered, cheap pencils are for writing. Expensive pencils are for drawing.

Great pencil for sketching and art
Very high quality mechanical pencil, the grip is amazing, the size feels right, and I love all metal silver design. Would recommend for anyone who likes drawing and doesn’t like cheap feeling pencils.

Not full barrel stainless steel, but a great pencil!
I like it the pencil but the description is a little misleading. "5mm stainless steel sleeve suitable for writing using a ruler." I wanted a full barrel stainless steel .05 mm Pencil. Only the tip with the knurled texture is stainless steel. The rest of the pencil barrel is plastic. Other than this disappointment it's a great pencil. The eraser that it comes with is 7/8" long as opposed to the 1/2" or so eraser that most mechanical pencils come with that are this size.
