Always before, this pedometer has been excellent in counting steps. I needed to replace my current Digi-Walker because I dropped it on concrete and it fell apart -- my fault. The delivery time for the model which measures your stride was going to be over 10 days, so I got this Model 200 because I felt lost without mine and the 200 would come in two days. This Model 200 is HORRIBLE! If you simply shift your body to one side without taking a step, it will count it as four to five steps. There is zero accuracy in tracking your number of steps. I walked 20 steps and the count showed up as 38. This model needs to be eliminated from the Digi-Walker line. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars The gold standard pedometer *by P***V on Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2012* This is the pedometer that other pedometers are measured against by researchers. It is extremely accurate, although it may take a few tries to find the best placement for you. I keep it in my pocket and it seems to be pretty accurate there, but it didn't work for my son in his pocket and he wound up putting it on his coin pocket. This is a very easy pedometer to use-it only has one button that resets the device to zero. It's a clamshell design, which prevents the button from accidentally being pressed and wiping out your steps. It's easy to pop open and replace the battery. The display is large and easy to read, and there is a calorie-to-steps chart. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the clip. For such a well-made device, the clip is the worst. It's just a piece of plastic bent into the shape of a clip on the back of the device. It doesn't hold very well and can pop off easily.
